Ziggy Southdust and the Positrons from Texas

| December 3, 2012

I was trying to stay away from this place becoming an obituary column ….

I purposely omitted mentioning Zig Ziglar last week.

But now I just can’t help it.

If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.”

– Zig Ziglar

He is the epitome of the true Southern Gentleman.

Only someone as intimately familiar with red clay as he was could be so aggressively positive, a real leader and positive role model.

Enough “positrons” to turn it into a career that influenced many and will go far into the future.

He was born in 1926 – just 4 years before what I consider the most opportune time to ever be born and of course that location is the United States of America – and more specific, the Southeastern portion.

It’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you use that makes a difference.”

“Little men with little minds and little imaginations go through life in little ruts, smugly resisting all changes which would jar their little worlds.”

– Zig Ziglar
