Hast Thou Sinneth Against Thy Hot Dog ?

I have an odd situation …

I made a side dish from Hebrew National hot dogs. The thin ones that are just a ‘lil thicker than cocktail weenies. HN dogs are AWESOME ! A bit pricey – but worth it.

And – they are kosher …

Here is my dilemma …

I first dried them of juice as much as possible rolling them in paper towels.

I cut them into 4 pieces per dog.

I took higher grade bacon links. Cut them so they would wrap once around the hot do pieces.

Secured the bacon with tooth picks.

I then used a small fryer with pure peanut oil and deep fried them until the bacon was crisp but not crackly …

They were absolutely delicious !

So my dilemma came when I realized I used kosher dogs and wrapped them in pork (the bacon) …

Am I now in trouble ?
