They Lied to us When We Were Kids in Public School

They said we were a Democracy.

We are not.

It is a misnomer perpetuated by those with an agenda to rule others by manipulation.

“Democracy does not contain any force which will check the constant tendency to put more and more on the public payroll.

The state is like a hive of bees in which the drones display, multiply and starve the workers so the idlers will consume the food and the workers will perish.”

Our Founders had the luxury of 20/20 hindsight and knew what would work and what would not –

This is why Benjamin Franklin said why the American Republic was created “if you can keep it.”

And Thomas Jefferson knew how pure democracies always ended up:

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

“The majority, oppressing an individual, is guilty of a crime, abuses its strength, and … breaks up the foundations of society.”

And John Adams warned us that “Democracy … wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.”

Wise Benjamin Franklin could always simply illustrate anything with his wisdom – “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.”

Arm yourselves with knowledge and wisdom.

See reality for what it is. Know those who seek to deceive and manipulate us into something we are not.
