It seems like yesterday when I was riding my cool American bicycle with that banana seat with short pants on to the record store to buy a copy of “HANG ON SLOOPY” on ’45 that I heard on the local AM pop station in the 60s (which I still have in my collection today) …
Rick was the guitarist of the band “The McCoys” who sang the song –

Yep – that was Rick laying it down back in the 60s :-)
Speaking of laying it down … later came the 70s … and Rick was producing and developing those baggy eyes that only a producer develops from the hard work of long hours of perfection creating gold –
