Stephen Davies PhD of the Institute Of Economic Affairs on the Top Three Myths of the Great Depression

| September 5, 2011

.

Just as today, past failures are attempted to be explained away by those responsible for their follies that devastated people’s lives and even an entire generation.

Remember this lesson when today’s leaders attempt to pass off their failed policies and agendas and blame their own folly on a past administration or the weather or foreign wars.

I am not a degreed economic expert such as Mr. Davies, but speaking as a professional producer and historian, I believe now that when history is written about our time under the present executive administration it will be shown we had entered an economic depression by the summer of 2011. There will also be those who sing praises just as they do for the failed FDR administration during the 1930s.
