Apparently there is quite an exciting archeological find in England under a common automobile parking lot in Leicester. Leicester is a major manufacturing area for the UK.

King Richard III and his story was immortalized by William Shakespeare and his burial location was lost to history thanks to Henry VIII Richard III title pagehaving all the monasteries dismantled around 50 years later.

Richard III was killed in battle well over 500 years ago and buried by monks.

His death was illustrated in Shakespeare’s play with the famous last words:

“A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!”

( from Act V – Scene IV )

Richard_III_portraitWe are about to find out that this skeleton of a person who obviously died in battle – complete with an arrow head embedded in its spine – is truly Richard III.

Everything seems to line up with history. But real proof lies in the DNA.

Direct descendants now living in Canada will provide help with identifying the remains via DNA analysis.

Ironically, the grave was found while digging up a car parking lot to do some renovations.

The fascinating full story is HERE
