Frost on the Pumpkin …

… although pumpkins are not in season.

Neither is this cold snap.

Seems like nature is making up for last year. It was so warm last winter that we continually harvested the lettuce we planted in late August until the next summer when it was the heat that finally defeated the lettuce crop.

Nature seems to have a way of balancing things out.
